From Start to Finish, Nothing But the Best

Purchasing a new home is an exciting experience. When you choose Winchester Homes™, you can rest assured that the process will meet your highest expectations.

From the day you choose your new home, to the day you move in, we'll guide you in making the important decisions and managing the details. The steps outlined below highlight some of the significant events along the way to owning a Winchester Home.

Step 1: Contract Meeting
This is where your ownership and building experience truly begins. At your contract meeting, you will be presented with a purchase agreement and various addenda that constitute the legal understanding regarding the purchase of your new home. You will have already chosen your desired homesite and will take the first step in owning a Winchester home.

Step 2: Post Contract Meeting
This meeting is designed to give you a clear overview of the selection, construction, and warranty processes. After this meeting, you should have a realistic understanding of what Winchester Homes™ provides.

Step 3: Selection Meeting
Now you can begin the exciting process of personalizing your new home. Choose from our expansive list of options...from flooring and countertop options to light fixtures that reflect your individual style...the choices are endless. Would you like to make a change that is outside of the ordinary? With Winchester Homes™' Your Home. Your Way.™ customization program, you have the freedom to create the home of a lifetime. Reconfigure your kitchen, expand closets, or add a screened-in porch. Need ideas? Meet with our Your Home. Your Way. design team to discuss all the exciting ways you can customize your new home.

Step 4: Pre Construction Orientation
This meeting will give you the opportunity to meet with the production team who will be responsible for building your home. In this meeting, you will review your selections and your Your Home. Your Way™ requests for accuracy. Weather permitting, you will travel to your actual homesite to review the placement of your home and the grading of your homesite. We'll also provide helpful guidelines on safety, security, and the construction timetable.

Step 5: Pre-Drywall Meeting
Prior to drywall installation, we will walk through you new home. The primary goal of this meeting is to familiarize you with process and materials used in constructing your home and to help you gain an understanding of how the framing and mechanical systems of your home will work. This meeting will provide you with another opportunity to verify your selections.

Step 6: Quality Assurance Inspection
Winchester Homes™ prides itself on quality workmanship. Quality Assurance Inspections are performed throughout the homebuilding process to ensure everything meets our quality standards. As a final inspection before you move into your new home, Winchester Homes™ completes a Managers' Walk. The Managers' Walk is done to make certain that your home is in working order and to identify any items that need attention before your pre-settlement meeting.

Step 7: Pre-Settlement Meeting
As your home nears completion, the last formally scheduled meeting with your production supervisor will include important information about your warranty and the completion of your home's final inspection. The Winchester Homes™' representative will walk you room-by-room through your new home to demonstrate the features and operating procedures of your home.

Step 8: Closing
At closing, the Title and other documents conveying your new home to you will be executed and delivered. Congratulations on your new Winchester Home™.
