Maryland National Capital Building Industry Association awards Winchester Homes 2009 "Builder of the Year" for the 4th consecutive year.
Bethesda, MD (October 30, 2009) – Winchester Homes, a Bethesda, Md.-based home builder, is delighted to announce they have been named the 2009 "Builder of the Year" in the high volume category (over 200 units a year) by the Maryland National Capital Building Industry Association (MNCBIA) for the fourth consecutive year. The award was presented at the Maryland National Capital Building Industry Association reception held on October 22, 2009 at the Bethesda Marriott Hotel.
The awards are voted on by MNCBIA's Builder and Associate members based on criteria including professionalism displayed by the builder or developer and their employees, the quality of work of the builder or developer and the working relationship between the builder or developer and their subcontractors and suppliers. The MNCBIA "Builder of the Year in the High Volume" category award recognizes overall excellence in the areas of scheduling, supervision, engineering, quality control and ethics.
Winchester has received numerous national awards for customer satisfaction, high quality construction, innovative architectural designs, safe business practices and environmental leadership. In 2009, Winchester Homes was ranked the #1 home builder by J.D. Power and Associates in the 2009 New-Home Quality Study(sm) for the Washington DC market. This is the second time in three years that Winchester Homes ranked highest in new home quality.
