Winchester Homes and Camberley Homes showcase leadership and marketing excellence in the Maryland and Virginia homebuilding industry.

Bethesda, MD (May 28, 2008) – Winchester Homes and Camberley Homes combine to win eight 2007 MAME Awards (Major Achievement in Marketing Excellence Awards). The 31st annual MAME Awards gala was presented by the Washington Metropolitan Sales & Marketing Council, Northern Virginia Building Industry Association and the Maryland National Capital Building Industry Association. The “James Bond 007” themed MAME awards gala was held on Thursday, May 22 at the Ritz Carlton, Tyson’s Corner in McLean, Virginia. Over 900 attendees from the Maryland and Virginia building industry were on hand at the awards gala.

Here is a summary of the MAME awards from the evening:

  • Director of Marketing and Marketing Manager of the Year award presented to Cynthia Herberg – Director of Marketing and Kelli Tolocka – Marketing Manager.
  • Best Interior Merchandising Attached Home $1.1 million plus awarded to Stockwell Manor by Camberley Homes located in Falls Church, Virginia.
  • Best Interior Merchandising Detached Home $1.8 million plus awarded to Riverwood by Camberley Homes located in Ellicott City, Maryland.
  • Exceptional Sales Effort awarded to Adam Grams, Glen Haven community in Spotsylvania County, Virginia.
  • Sales Person of the Year Single Family Home over $1.1 million awarded to Jane Slusser, Stockwell Manor by Camberley Homes in Falls Church, Virginia.
  • Sales Team of the Year awarded to: Kimberley Wilson and Sally Walters from the Chapel Grove community in Anne Arundel County, Maryland.
  • Best Website – Award of Merit to Winchester Homes and Camberley Homes.
  • Best Website Active Adult – Award of Merit to the Artistry Collection by Winchester Homes.
