If you were going to move, what would you look for in your new home and the surrounding area? Years ago, as our lease was expiring on our rental and my husband and I were looking to purchase our first home, I remember making a wish list of features for our future house.
We wanted a suburban oasis in a walkable community where we could get to know our neighbors but provided easy access to restaurants, nightlife, and cultural offerings in and around Washington, DC.
